Day 01 Taipei – Sun Moon Lake – Taichung
Sun Moon Lake is the biggest freshwater lake in the island. Divided by Lalu Island, the area around the lake is also the home to the Thao people, a group of Taiwanese aborigines. Before lunch, enjoy a relaxing lake cruise by a motorboat. After lunch, we will head off to Taichung.
Miyahara was once an ophthalmology clinic back in the day, today it is a restaurant and a retail store that serves traditional Taiwanese pastries, chocolates, bubble tea, and ice cream.
Rainbow Village was a small military dependents’ housing community in the Nantun District of Taichung, now a creative park which is famous for its vibrantly painted houses and alleys. The quirky village is one of the most colorful spots in Taiwan and is a really fun place to visit.
National Taichung Theater is an opera house designed by the famous Japanese architecture “Toyo Ito”. It is referred as one of the most difficult to build because of the curved surfaces. Don’t miss the chance to enjoy a close-up view of the masterpiece, and the graceful and mysterious ambience created by the master.
Fengjia Night Market is one of the most famous night markets in Taichung, with a variety of snacks that will make you drool. The clothing and accessories are also unique and fairly priced.
Day 02 Taichung – Leofoo Village Theme Park – Taipei
Have a full breakfast first before meeting up the tour guide for your next adventure for the day.
Chung-she Flower Garden is a flower farm located in Houli District of Taichung. Planted with a wide array of colorful flowers, it is a beautiful place to capture the precious moments with family and friends by camera. Whatever the season you happen to visit, you will never fail to be amazed with what you will be seeing.
After that, enjoy a “wild” day in Leofoo Village Theme Park, one of the most popular amusement parks in Taiwan. The park features 4 areas: the Wild West, South Pacific, Arabian Palace and African Tribe. The Water Park is open during the summer time.
After the long fun and tiring day you will be heading back to Taipei Main Station for your drop off location.
