DEPARTURE DAY: FRIDAY


HAVANA – LAS TERRAZAS – VINALES

DAY 1

Breakfast. Hotel pickup. Departure to Las Terrazas, an ecological project located in the Sierra del Rosario, declared a Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO, enhoying the cuban flora and fauna and the beauties of the place. Upon arrival, reception at Rancho Curujey, with enjoyment of a welcome cocktail enlivened by a local group of traditional cuban music.

Explanation of the social project that takes place in this town supported by illustrative images. Then, visit to the Terrazas Community, walk through the Callejón de la Moka and tasting a creole coffee. 

To continue, visit to Buenavista coffee plantation, partially restored 19th century coffee plantation. Lunch in one of the restaurants of the complex. Visit to the Rio San Juan with free time to enjoy a refreshing swim. Continuation of the trip to Vinales and accommodation and dinner at the confirmed hotel. Free night.

VINALES

DAY 2

Breakfast at the hotel. Tour of the Vinales Valley, declared a cultural landscape protected by UNESCO, and visit to the farm of a farmer. The visit includes the Tobacco Route to enjoy in an interactive way all the stages that this product goes through, from the plantations, the drying process in the plain, destemming and twisting of the tobacco.

Visit to the Mural of Prehistory, one of the most important open-air frescoes in the world, which recreates on the side of a mogote the evolution of life in a natural sense in Cuba. 

Lunch at a local restaurant and then, visit to Mirador de los Jazmines, where you can admire a spectacular view of the Vinales Valley. Optional visit (not included) to the Cueva del Indio with a tour through it by boat on the river that runs inside.

Accommodation and dinner at the confirmed hotel. Free night.

VINALES – SOROA – HAVANA

DAY 3

Breakfast at the hotel and departure to Havana. Along the way you will visit the city of Soroa with a visit to the Orchid Garden, which has the largest collection of cuban flora in Cuba, with 130 native species and 700 from tropical regions around thw world. Then, visit to the Salto of Soroa, a waterfall 22 meters high and considered one of the wonders of Cuban geography.

Lunch at a local restaurant and, after lunch, departure to Havana. Accommodation in selected hotel.
