Arrival in Vilnius and transfer to hotel. Free time.

Day 2: Vilnius
Breakfast at hotel. City tour of Vilnius including St. Peter and Paul’s Church, Cathedral Square, St. Ann and Bernardine’sChurch, the Gate of Dawn with the holy image of the Virgin Mary, Russian Orthodox Church of the Holy Spirit, Town Hall Square, Jewish quarter and Vilnius University (1579).
Afternoon excursion to Trakai (25 km), former capital of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania. Visit to the insular castle, erected on a small island in the lake Galvė which served as a residence of Lithuanian Grand Dukes.

Day 3: Vilnius – Kaunas – Klaipeda
Breakfast at hotel. Departure for Klaipeda (300 km) via Kaunas. Short city tour of Kaunas, the capital of Lithuania between the World Wars, including the Town Hall Square, Cathedral-Basilica, Vytautas Church, the ruins of the Castle. Further drive to Klaipeda. Arrival and a short tour of the main seaport and the oldest city of Lithuania, which until the World War II belonged to East Prussia and was known by the name Memel. The German heritage is still evident via the timber framed Fachwerk houses in the Old Town and in the Old Harbor. Check-in at hotel.

Day 4: Klaipeda – Nida – Klaipeda
Breakfast at hotel. Departure for Nida (50 km). A combined coach and walking tour of Neringa National Park, which separates the Baltic Sea from the Curonian Lagoon, with beautiful wild nature with sand dunes and pine forests. Visit of Nida with the Thomas Mann House andJuodkrante with the Witches’Hill. Return to Klaipeda.

Day 5: Klaipeda – Palanga – Kuldiga – Riga
Breakfast at hotel. Departure for Riga via Palanga. Short tour of Palanga, visiting the Botanical Garden and Amber Museum in the Palace of Count Tyszkiewicz and containing one of the largest collections of amber inclusions in the world. Further drive to Riga with a stop at Kuldiga. Visit of the old town with narrow streets and the bridge across the river Venta. The town is also famous for the widest waterfall in Europe. Arrival and check-in at hotel.

Day 6: Riga
Breakfast at hotel. City tour of Riga, visiting medieval Hanseatic town with Riga Castle, St. Peter’s Church, the Dome Cathedral, the Old Guild Houses, the Swedish Gate, the House of the Blackheads, the Freedom Monument, and the Art Nouveau district. Afternoon excursion to Ethnographic Open- Air Museum (12 km).
Overnight: hotel in Riga
Day 7: Riga – Sigulda – Pärnu – Kuressaare
Breakfast at hotel. Departure for Saaremaa Island (350 km) via Sigulda. Visit of the Gauja National Park and Turaida museum reserve with Castle ruins. Further drive to Pärnu and a short visit of the “Summer capital” of Estonia.
Ferry to Saaremaa, the largest Estonian island. Arrival to Kuressaaretown and check-in at hotel.

Day 8: Kuressaare – Haapsalu – Keila – Tallinn
Breakfast at hotel. Visit of Kuressaare Castle, Kaali meteorite craters, windmills of Saaremaa. Departure for Tallin with a stop at Haapsalu, a wonderful little town with a miniature Town Hall and romantic wooden dwelling houses. Further drive to Keila and visit of the town and its’ Waterfall. Arrivaland check-in at hotel.

Day 9: Tallinn
Breakfast at hotel. City tour of Tallinn, the best-preserved medieval city in Northern Europe. The tour includes Toompea Castle fortifications, the Dome Church, Russian Orthodox Cathedral of Alexander Nevskij, Town Hall Square, the Old Guild, St. Olaf’s Church.
Afternoon excursion to Kardriorg Park (5 km) andvisit of Kadriorg Palace.
Overnight: hotel in Tallinn
Day 10: Departure from Tallinn
Breakfast at hotel. Free time. Transfer to airport.
