Day 1: Tallinn

Ar­ri­val in Tal­linn and transfer to hotel. Free time.

Overnight: hotel in Tal­linn

 

Day 2: Tallinn

Breakfast at hotel. Ci­ty tour of Tal­linn, the best-preserved medieval city in Northern Europe. The tour inc­lu­des To­om­pea Cast­le for­ti­fi­ca­tions, the Do­me Church, Rus­sian Ort­ho­dox Cathed­ral of Ale­xan­der Nev­skij, Town Hall Squ­a­re, the Old Guild, St. Olaf’s Church.

Afternoon excursion to Kadriorg Park (5 km) and visit of Kadriorg Palace. 

Overnight: hotel in Tal­linn

 

Day 3: Tallinn – Sigulda – Riga  

Breakfast at hotel. Departure for Riga (350 km) via Sigulda. Visit of the Gau­ja Na­tio nal Park and Tu­rai­da museum reserve with Cast­le ruins. Arrival and check-in at hotel.

Overnight: hotel in Riga

 

Day 4: Riga  

Breakfast at hotel. Ci­ty tour of Ri­ga, vi­si­ting me­die­val Han­se­a­tic town with Ri­ga Cast­le, St. Pe­ter’s Church, the Do­me Cat­hed­ral, the Old Guild Hou­ses, the Swedish Gate, the House of the Blackheads, the Freedom Monument, and the Art Nouveau district. Afternoon excursion to Jurmala (30 km).

Overnight: hotel in Riga

 

Day 5: Riga – Palanga – Klaipeda 

Breakfast at hotel. Departure for Klaipeda (300 km) via Palanga with a stop at the Hill of Crosses. Short tour of Palanga, visiting the Botanical Garden and Amber Museum situated in the Palace of Count Tyszkiewicz and containing one of the largest collections of amber inclusions in the world. Arrival and check-in at hotel.

Overnight: hotel in Klaipeda

 

Day 6: Nida – Vilnius

Breakfast at hotel. Departure for Nida (50 km), ferry crossing to Curonian Spit. A combined coach and walking tour of Neringa National Park, which separates the Baltic Sea from the Curonian Lagoon, with beautiful wild nature with sand dunes and pine forests. Visit of Nida with the Thomas Mann House and Juodkrante with the Witches’Hill. Departure for Vilnius (300 km). Arrival and check-in at hotel.

Day 7: Vilnius 

Breakfast at hotel. Ci­ty tour of Vil­nius including St. Pe­ter and Paul’s Church, Cat hed­ral Squ­a­re, St. Ann and Ber­nar­di­ne’s Church, the Ga­te of Dawn with the ho­ly ima­ge of the Vir­gin Ma­ry, Rus­sian Ort­ho­dox Church of the Ho­ly Spi­rit, Town Hall Squ­a­re, Jewish quarter and Vil­nius Uni­ver­si­ty (1579).

Afternoon excursion to Trakai (25 km), for­mer ca­pi­tal of the Grand Du­chy of Lit­hu­a nia. Vi­sit to the in­su­lar cast­le, erec­ted on a small is­land in the la­ke Gal­vė which ser ved as a re­si­den­ce of Lit­hu­a­nian Grand Du­kes.

Overnight: hotel in Vil­nius

 

Day 8: Departure from Vilnius

Breakfast at hotel. Free time. Transfer to airport.
