DAY 01 – LISBOA

Arrival at Lisbon International Airport. Assistance and transfer to the hotel. Accommodation, rest from the travel and overnight stay.

DAY  02 –  LISBOA / SINTRA / COLARES / CASCAIS / ESTORIL

Breakfast and start of the sightseeing tour of the main sites and monuments of the capital of Portugal. Short stop at Rossio square to taste a “Ginjinha” (sweet cherry liquer). Free time for lunch. The tour procedes to the romantic village of Sintra and the Colares region. Wine tasting in the cellar which produces the Colares wine. On the way back to Lisbon, we will pass through the cosmopolitan cities of Cascais and Estoril. Arrival at the hotel. Overnight stay.

DAY 03 – LISBOA / AZEITÃO / SETÚBAL /  ÉVORA

Breakfast. Departure to Azeitão to tour the José Maria da Fonseca cellars. Guided tour and wine tasting, especially the famous “Moscatel de Setúbal”. Typical lunch in a restaurant in Setúbal. The trip procedes to Évora, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Overnight stay in hotel.

DAY 04 – ÉVORA / MONSARAZ / ÉVORA

Breakfast and walking tour of this wonderful and historic city: Giraldo Square, Diana Temple, the Cathedral, St. Francis Church and the Chapel of Bones. The tour procedes to the wine cellars of Herdade do Esporão. Wine tasting and lunch. The journey continues to the medieval town of Monsaraz. Tour of the Castle which overlooks the Alqueva lake. Return to the hotel in Évora. Accommodation and overnight stay.

DAY 05 – ÉVORA / HERDADE DOS GROUS / ÉVORA

Breakfast and departure southwards to Baixo Alentejo, in the heart of which we find the city of Beja and the Herdade dos Grous, land of the famous “Trincadeira” and “Aragonês” grape varieties. Tasting of the wines which are produced  there and gourmet lunch served in the Herdade’s restaurant. After the meal, return to the hotel in Évora. Accommodation and overnight stay.

DAY 06 – ÉVORA / ESTREMOZ / QUINTA DO CARMO / REDONDO

After breakfast, departure to Estremoz, known as “the white city” because of its white marble quarries. Home to many Kings and Queens, particularly King D. Dinis and Queen Saint Isabel. Tour of the Castle and lunch at the Pousada’s restaurant. The tour procedes to Quinta do Carmo, where all the Bacalhôa wines are produced, for a guided tour and wine tasting. Departure to Redondo. Arrival at the hotel and overnight stay.

DAY  07 –  REDONDO / LISBOA

Redondo is the Alentejo, it is synonym with tradition and hospitality. It is the white houses and the excellent quality of the wines which comes from the quality of the grapes of this region. Lunch will be a meal which represents Alentejo’s typical cuisine, served in traditional Redondo ceramic dishes, accompanied by the excellent wines of this region. After lunch, departure to Lisbon. Arrival at the hotel. Accommodation and overnight stay.

DAY  08 –  LISBOA

Breakfast. Transfer to Lisbon International Airport.
