DAY  01 –  PORTO

Arrival at Sá Carneiro International Airport. Assistance and transfer to the hotel. Accommodation, rest from the travel and overnight stay.

DAY  02  –  PORTO

Breakfast and departure for a sightseeing tour of the capital of the North of Portugal, with special focus on the old and historic centre of Ribeira, a Unesco World Heritage Site. Tour to one of the Port wine cellars, with a wine tasting included. Free time for lunch. Rabelo boat trip on the Douro River. Return to the hotel and overnight stay.

DAY 03 – PORTO / VALENÇA / PALÁCIO DA BREJOEIRA / PORTO

Breakfast and departure for a trip along the coast bathed by the Atlantic Ocean to Viana do Castelo. From the top of Santa Luzia hill, there will be time to take in the breathtaking view over the Lima River. The trip procedes to Valença do Minho, where there will be a typical lunch in a local restaurant. Then, departure to Monção to tour the Palace of Brejoeira and taste the famous “Vinho Verde” (white sparkling wine). Return to Porto. Overnight accommodation.

DAY 04  – PORTO / QUINTA DA AVELEDA / RÉGUA

Breakfast and departure to Penafiel touring Quinta da Aveleda in the middle of the “Vinho Verde” region, owned by the Guedes Family since 1870. Wine tasting and lunch. Through hills and valleys along the river, we will arrive to Peso da Régua in the heart of the Douro Valley. Accommodation at the hotel and overnight stay.

DAY 05 – PORTO / VALE DO DOURO / PORTO

Breakfast and tour of the Douro Museum, dedicated to the promotion of the Port Wine  Region. The tour continues to one of the vineyards of the region. Wine tasting and lunch. After the meal we continue the trip to the small village of Pinhão, in the Alto Douro Wine Region. 45-minute boat trip up the river aboard an environmentally friendly boat. Return to the hotel in Porto. Accommodation and overnight stay.

DAY 06 – PORTO / AVEIRO / MEALHADA / PORTO

Breakfast and departure to Aveiro, located in a lagoon known as Ria de Aveiro, with many canals sailed by colourful boats known as “moliceiros”. Boat trip. Tasting of the famous regional sweets “ovos-moles”. Departure to Mealhada, the region of sparkling wine. And land of the “Leitão à Bairrada” (roasted suckling pig). Lunch. Return to the hotel in Porto. Accommodation and overnight.

DAY  07 – PORTO 

Breakfast. Transfer to the Sá Carneiro International Airport
